BabyBuzz is a baby and toddler boutique in downtown Willow Glen (1314 Lincoln Ave, San Jose, CA) and an online shop. In addition to having irresistibly cute babygear, toys, children's apparel, gifts and maternity wear, BabyBuzz has a lounge/play area, with free-flowing (and free) coffee and tea. There's nothing nicer than a little break while the babies play, is there? There are also a variety of classes, workshops, and events in the lounge area. The idea of BabyBuzz started when my daughter was a few months old, and I'd taken my zillionth walk to the park with her, in an effort to get out of the house and find something to do. Of course, I was madly in love with her, and I could easily be entertained by watching her cute little nuances all day, but at the same time, I missed (uninterrupted) adult conversation, I missed having coffee with friends, and I missed being able to simply take a break. I also found myself on an endless search to find non-plastic, non-battery operated, non-primary colored toys for her. That, and a desire to do something meaningful, rather than to return to hohum cubicle life, where I once dwelled as a software engineer.

And so, BabyBuzz was born out of a passion to find useful, well designed, irresistibly cute stuff for babies and parents, while at the same time, providing a place to take a little break, have a good cup of coffee or tea, and/or nurse your baby. BabyBuzz has a lounge and play area, and offers classes and workshops (all taught by incredibly talented super-moms), speaker nights, mothers' group meetings, and much more.
